John Lee has been immersed in every business aspect of feature motion picture development. From producing to distribution, Lee has over twenty-five years of experience. He has bought and sold motion pictures and their various rights within the major markets at MIFED, Cannes, and AFM. He has acquired screenplays and motion picture rights to novels, and negotiated, managed and/or performed virtually every other business function of motion picture development, production, US and foreign theatrical and ancillary distribution, including auditing distributors in the perfection of producers' profits participations. His relationships are extensive and intimate with major production talent, motion picture studios, agents, entertainment banks, attorneys and ancillary licensees. Lee is the CEO of Entertainment Business Group. Rob served in physical production and project administration for Cinema Completions International, the industry's largest completion guarantor. Some of CCI's pictures include The Thin Red Line, Bless the Child, Rules of Engagement, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. He also worked as a project manager for Entertainment Coalition, a firm providing both entertainment insurance and completion bonds for its industry clients. Most recently, Pickering served as President of Sales and Distribution for Initial Entertainment Group, where she was responsible for the licensing and distribution of Michael Mann’s Ali (starring Will Smith), co-financed by Initial with Sony Pictures. She also planned and executed the international release strategy for Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Cameron Diaz). The film earned well over $100 million at the international box office, outstripping Miramax’s domestic performance results. Pickering served in similar capacities for Mutual Film Company and Spelling Films International. Under the Mutual banner, Pickering handled such Paramount and Universal co-financed films as Mike Nichol’s Primary Colors (John Travolta, Emma Thompson); Milos Forman’s Man on the Moon (Jim Carrey, Danny DeVito); and Curtis Hanson’s Wonder Boys (Michael Douglas). While at Spelling, she handled the Scott Rudin produced In & Out (Kevin Kline); Jonathan Mostow’s Breakdown (Kurt Russel); and Bryan Singer’s The Usual Suspects (which earned Academy Awards for Kevin Spacey and writer Chris MacQuarry). Bruce Auerbach is the President of Consumer Products for Entertainment Business Group (EBG). Bruce oversees on a global basis the solicitation and management of all third party licensing of products for the company’s slate of current and future motion picture properties. Presently, Bruce is directing worldwide merchandising and marketing for “The Runelords,” a motion picture franchise currently in pre-production. Bruce carries with him over 20 years of experience in the licensing industry. After representing over a dozen manufacturers and brokering deals with studios and licensors, Bruce found he had created a niche category in the world of licensing, pioneering the role of Licensing Agent for the manufacturer, utilizing insider information to broker substantial deals.
